Government of Gujarat is committed to entertain and provide with excellent facilities and hospitality to welcome the Travelers from all over the country and across the world. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shree Narendrabhai Modi has envisaged to establish Gujarat as an attractive tourist spot with a view to develop its heritage and tourist spots. Gujarat is having the only natural habitat and an empire of Asiatic Lions. It has various kinds of ecosystem, ranging from marine biodiversity, inland wetlands, saline deserts to tropical deciduous forest. Various iconic sites like "The Statue of Unity" and glorifying campaigns like "Kachchh Nahi Dekha to Kuchh Nahi Dekha" have further boosted the tourist flow In Gujarat. Tourism in Gujarat has grown manifold during last two decades with its tourist friendly policy and esthetic approach.

Gujarat is a policy driven state. Gujarat has announced a new tourism policy 2021-25 for the development of the tourism sector in the state. Heritage policy has also been announced for the developmant of historicol and ancient buildings in the state. Changes are made in the home stay policy of the state so that tourists from across the world can gat affordable accommodation in the state and can enjoy the culture of Gujarat. Due to the effective implementation of these policies, Gujarat has emerged on the World Tourism Map.
